Boutique Cottage Inside Conwy Walls Parking Pets

Very clean, excellent location

Location was great. Lovely clean cottage with all the amenities that one would want.

Parking was tight but we knew what to expect. The two, two seater sofas in the sitting room were not comfortable - wooden frame arms. We had read that in other reviews but it really would have been far more cosy with normal sofas.

I went here with my partner and highly recommend this sweet traditional cottage, conveniently close to amenities but tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. We loved thoughtful touches like the starter pack for the logburner, breakfast cereals, cookies, dog biscuits, books to read/board games, on top of the usual tea/coffee, washing provisions for bathroom, kitchen and laundry. It’s well equipped with mod cons like a dishwasher, wine fridge, washing machine, microwave, hairdryer etc. Bedtime was a treat as the beds were super comfy, the blinds meant the bedrooms were really dark and it was a quiet area with no noise to disturb our sleep. We made use of the cute courtyard garden with its table and chairs to sit outside and listen to the local birds and distant bells of Conwy’s beautiful church. Parking is right outside the cottage - definitely reverse up the road as it’s narrow, but as Conwy is an old mediaeval town, we were grateful for any parking!

Everything was lovely - nothing really to complain about.

Cosy cottage with open plan living downstairs. Located within Conwy castle walls and within walking distance to the town centre and local shops/amenities. Cottage was fully equipped in the kitchen and a log burner starter pack, tea/coffee making items, breakfast cereal jars, coffee machine and cafetière and kitchen roll, cling film and foil which is useful for self catering and packed lunches. Folder contained lots of useful information. Responsive hosts and property manager. Well lit within with mood lighting and lovely lamps upstairs. Main bedroom was quite spacious and had a long mirror to get ready in-front of instead of a dressing table so the windowsill was used. Ample storage facilities in the main bedroom and folding luggage racks proved useful. The utility room also proved useful as had hanging area for coats and a shoe rack. The washing machine would have been used for a longer stay. Lovely outdoor seating area, although not used. Fluffy black and white cat outside. Seagulls on the rooftop and car to remind you of the seaside location.

Husband didn’t stop complaining about the smell of dog inside, I only noticed the smell in the utility room. Dogs are not allowed upstairs so didn’t smell there. Reed diffusers throughout property but no air freshener or Febreze to freshen the place up some more. Although free parking was available on the street, it was very restricted. We were assured by the property owners to ignore the no parking signs as it is a public road. Having a big car meant we had to park carefully around the front doorsteps and bins etc to ensure we didn’t block any cars in or prevent access. The seating in the downstairs living area was compact and not actual sofas so made them less comfortable to sit on and you weren’t able to lie on them fully because of the wooden exposed arms. These were probably there as it is a very cosy living space and would have been difficult to fit sofas in comfortably. The seating and beds provided made it suitable for four people (two adults and two children), however not as spacious as we would have liked or what we are used to. This was booked as alternative accommodation as the heating and hot water failed in our first property that we booked.
