Mango Valley 4 Villa & Gym - Kuta Central Lombok

Toch wel een stukje lopen naar de eetzaakjes. Ongeveer 15 min naar de hoofdstraat. Dat is niet erg, maar dat is een redelijk "dood" stuk. Op Lombok hebben ze geen Grab of Gojek, dus lopen of een taxi regelen bij de villa. Elke dag werden we om 05.00 gewekt door de moskee. De badkamer die grenst aan de slaapkamer is open, dus dat geluid is relatief hard. Ook maakte de airco enorm veel lawaai bij het aangaan en uitgaan wat spontaan meerdere maken in de nacht gebeurde. Ook zij er actief vel Bouwwerkzaamheden in de buurt, die startte om 08.00.

We stayed at Mango Valley 4 Villa & Gym for five nights, from 2 to 7 July, and thought it was an exceptional property. The villa felt very open, bright and welcoming, which made it a lovely place to return to after a day out. The location was another real advantage, as it was within walking distance of the centre of Kuta. We especially enjoyed being able to walk back after eating in town, which was a pleasant way to round off the evening. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay in Kuta Lombok, combining a light and spacious feel with a very convenient location.

The only downside involved arranging scooter hire. Having previously ridden a Honda Scoopy in Jakarta, I specifically requested the same model for my sister and me. I contacted the person listed in the information folder provided at the accommodation and arranged delivery for 9 am the following morning. By 9.50 am, however, there had been no update, and when he eventually arrived, he brought a different bike. I explained through our host, Yudi, that I had specifically asked for a Honda Scoopy and would cancel unless the correct bike was supplied. As there was no prompt response, I eventually cancelled the booking. It was frustrating, but it was the only negative part of an otherwise excellent stay. Overall, Mango Valley 4 was a fantastic place to stay, with a bright, open feel and a very convenient location.
