EMERALD Villa

The view from the accommodation was truly spectacular and absolutely breathtaking! The pool was beautiful and the house was exceptionally well decorated. To reach the accommodation, you have to drive up an extremely steep hill, with an incline that feels almost like 90 degrees! Unless you have an SUV with a powerful engine, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to access the property. The second disadvantage is that, in order to reach the beach, you have to walk at least 1 km, including both uphill and downhill sections. The accommodation is therefore unsuitable for people with mobility issues or difficulty walking. A very experienced driver is needed to manage the extremely steep road leading almost to the top of the mountain, where the property is located. The accommodation is definitely not just 150 metres from the beach, as stated on Booking.com. - Για να φτάσεις στο κατάλυμα υπάρχει μία πάρα πολύ απότομη ανηφόρα με κλίση σχεδόν 90 μοιρών! Εάν κάποιος δεν έχει SUV αυτοκίνητο με δυνατό κινητήρα δεν μπορεί να προσεγγίσει το κατάλυμα αυτό. Το δεύτερο μειονέκτημα είναι ότι για να φτάσει στην παραλία πρέπει πάλι να περπατήσεις τουλάχιστον 1 km με ανηφόρα και κατηφόρα. Είναι ακατάλληλο κατάλυμα για ανθρώπους με κινητικά προβλήματα και δυσκολίες στην μετακίνηση. Χρειάζεται ένας πολύ έμπειρος οδηγός για να ανέβει την ανηφόρα που οδηγεί σχεδόν στην κορυφή του βουνού, όπου βρίσκεται το κατάλυμα. Δεν απέχει μόνο 150 m από την παραλία, όπως αναγράφεται στο booking.

Amazing location, spectacular view and our host Panos was very hospitable. Squeaky clean vila. We would definitely come back again. Short 2 min drive to main port and similar distance to the Episkopi beach which is one of the best of the island. Highly recommended

Εξαιρετικό κατάλυμα, άνετο, σε τέλεια τοποθεσία με πολύ όμορφη και προσεγμένη διακόσμηση. Ο Άρης ηταν φιλικός και εξυπηρετικός και μας κέρδισε από την πρώτη στιγμή, πάντα πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει. Ιδανική επιλογή για ξεκούραστες διακοπές – το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Had a nice view as you are on a hill

Beds were rock hard, to me it’s thrown together for the money, no washing machine facilities, makes it hard for a family to stay for 5 days. Need a 4x4 for the driveway
