Keine Privatsphäre - auf der Terasse gehen Menschen direkt vor dem Fenster am Bett vorbei. Die Lehne des Betts ist von einem alten Bett und steht loose am Kopfende, nicht fixiert.

The appearance of the public area is very impressive. excellent location, close to the 5th but you don't hear noise from the clubs. The host Cesar was charming and kindly helped with any questions and problems. The room has a small kitchen and there is always very hot water in the shower. Overall, the room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

There was a water leak that was fixed the next day but the room was damp. There were guests who did not keep the public area quiet (without a staff member present), the room was not cleaned at all during the entire stay and there was an acoustic problem in the room. You can hear the neighbors' conversations through the wooden doors that separate the rooms

If you are looking for a lovely little oasis in the middle of the Playa del Carmen tourist zone, I highly recommend Blue Angel 6. The room is simple but had everything I needed (including a toaster!). I loved my shady patio right next to the pool, the shaded hammock on the top floor with a view to the ocean, and being close (but not too close) to Quinte Avenue. This is a vacation apartment building not a hotel, so be prepared to be independent. That said, Caesar is very friendly and helpful and the staff do an excellent job of keeping the common areas very clean. My room was spotless when I arrived and it was easy to get extra toilet paper and garbage bags when I needed them. My room also had two beach towels for my use, which I appreciated. The pool is not deep but it is really nice for relaxed swimming and I often had it all to myself. :) Some tips: The beach that is only a block away is not a swimming beach. It's a boat beach (with a great view). The swimming beaches are a 5-10 minute walk away, through town. I recommend the beach in front of Los Pelicanos for the best swimming. Mega Soriana (on 30 Avenue) is the place to go for water and food. It's a 10-15 minute walk through a safe part of town and open until 11:00 pm. It is next to a Santander's Bank which is a great place to get pesos from the ATM. Playa del Carmen is a busy beach town so expect there to be noise, esp. during the day. While I was there, the nights were always quiet and I slept very well.

I actually haven't seen this in any place that I've stayed in Mexico but it would have been really nice to have something in my room for hanging up wet swimwear.

Cesar nos recibió y atendió desde el primer momento super bien, respondiendo a todas las preguntas que tuvimos, nos dio consejos acerca de donde coger tours y estuvo atento a todo. El parking es gratuito y las instalaciones de 10, desde la piscina hasta el apartamento en general.
