Zig Zag Retreat - Hilltop Home With Stunning Views

Everything was excellent. Exceptional views & wildlife. Pool amazing, highly recommended and looking forward to rent it again.

Everything was perfect overall. The only minor issue was a bit of dust in the rooms, otherwise no complaints at all.

In general this is a great place to stay in the hills - close to great great city views,many walking trails and easy to reach the restaurants and markets in Kalamunda. Accommodation is clean, very comfortable and there is plenty of room for an extended family of 9 to do things together but also places for quiet times (for the adults).

The posiitives outweighed the negatives but we were disappointed when we arrived because we were expecting one of the rooms to have 2 single beds, as advertised, but this was not the case. One concern for those with very young children is that the pool, although gated from the outside is accessible from a couple of rooms in the house.

The property was nothing short of amazing. The location, the privacy, the views, the rooms, the kitchen, everything was so beautifully presented and the hosts have thought of everything. Fantastic appliances best coffee machine ever, the fridge I want one. Everything about this place impressed me especially the host, such a kind beautiful soul, very accommodating and understanding, gave us all the space, the place was our own and having guests that loved their stay was what matters most she said. The infinity pool was the centrepiece of this serene retreat with fabulous views as far as the eyes could see, interesting both night and day. We were welcomed by half a dozen kangaroos, it was amazing they were right there by the main entrance where they would come everyday to drink from the water feature. A great place away from it all but still close enough from home (30 min drive from Fremantle) so not too far :) Great value for money, I will be back. PS. Fast wifi, big tv, modern appliances and quality fittings, furnishings, floorings & bench tops throughout, o and plenty of parking

The only thing I didn’t like about the property is that I had to leave.
