We rented this property to celebrate my son’s 11th Birthday and the rooms and space were great for what we needed. One upstairs loft and room for us as hosts, one room with twin beds for my son and his buddy, and then another room for our guests. I liked that this place had two bathrooms, a hot tub, and that it was close to town where grocery stores and home ware stores were so we could easily grab food and supplies. It’s also close to several snow tubing sites!
What I didn’t enjoy about the property: *the guest book with explanations of amenities and things to know about the property was blanket for all properties this company manages so there were inconsistencies such as whether or not we could use the fireplace and if we needed to buy wood for it. *Lack of towels: they provide one towel per guest and the towels were so small and flimsy. There were six of us staying for three nights! The guest book also said that the reason the property didn’t provide more towels was because laundry is a heavy lift, so it advised that guests should just “wash and dry their towels in the laundry room” … but there was no laundry room on site. Just two locked doors. When we texted to see if we could get more towels provided, no one texted us back, so we ended up spending money on towels in town for us and our guests. Then, hours later, we finally heard back from the property managers and were told via text that no, there was in fact no laundry room at the cabin. Quite frustrating. *this cabin looked as though it was under renovation and no explanation as to why certain rooms were locked. We were confused if the “laundry room” was behind one of the doors, but gave up after the communication about it all was lacking. *Some of the space heaters provided in the closets did not work. *When we texted the provided phone number to ask about what types of dishes or kitchen tools were provided, no one got back to us to let us know. When we arrived, a lot of the kitchen tools such as large spoons and spatulas were broken, melted and/or falling a part. I had half of the ladle fall into the soup pot while I was making everyone soup one afternoon and that was such a joke. Just terrible. *Kitchen table chairs were also rickety and felt like they were on their last legs. *the guestbook says text for anything you may need during your stay, but they do not respond accordingly and so you’re left to figure it out on your own.

It was very nice house in the quiet location about 30 min drive away from the Kirkwood mountain slopes. Overall, it was very good. A hot tub outside was great after a full day on the mountain! The size of the house was good enough for our family of 4. There was one spare bed in the bedroom on the first floor. TV and internet are also available in addition. Fireplace was working great and we really enjoyed it. All appliances were working fine. Nearest shops and restaurants are about 8 min away from the house.
It was cold in the master bedroom on the second floor as it was blowing from the window there. So, if you are going to stay there during a winter season I would strongly recommend to take your house slippers and turn on a heater on the second floor in advance. Be aware that the electrical outlet on the wall close to the door in the master bedroom is not operational, use another one close to the master bad. It's less convenient, but it worked for us. One more thing: if you're going to cook a breakfast - don't forget to bring a salt and oil in addition to the food. :)
