Utterly disappointed and extremely unpleasant customer service.

All the reviews on this property are sincerely fake and self-created. I travelled from north east of the country but M42 and M45 (southbound) were shut at night which took me a detour, making my journey longer than the expected arrival time. The emails I received reminded me of a PIN to open the key box. I arrived there in frigid weather, contacted the owner who didn't bother answering the call until 7: 00 AM. The weather was extremely cold and we stayed in our car the entire night. I did not expect their rude and hostile behaviour at all as I paid about £95, expecting good value for money. As the check out was 11:00 AM, I asked them to allow me and my wife but they refused the entry. If there is anything on a scale of minus 1 to 10, I would most definitely give them minus 10 for being rude, unwelcoming. If you want to lose your money in exchange for rude and cold behaviour, you can try but I have already shared my feedback within my connections and in chat groups to warn family friends to avoid this property at all cost.

Their cold behaviour, miscommunication, unwelcoming attitude, the property being dirty and being at a distance of over 7 miles from the city center. Not worth it at all even if the stay is free.

Good quality

The flat is much nicer than the photos. Everything is of really good quality and the flat includes just what you need. Nice touches like a a small bottle of fresh milk and high quality shampoo brought us pleasure, especially since we were on foot and travelling light. We were pleased we decided to eat in the pub downstairs as the food was delicious, home cooked and fairly priced. I would definitely visit again if we needed a stop over.

Wow what a fabulous little find

We stayed overnight for a friend’s wedding at the pub, and it was absolutely ideal. The accommodation is modern, spacious, and every little detail has been thought of. I was amazed by the amount of space and the attention to detail when I first walked in. Being so close to the motorway, it’s a great stopover for visiting Bristol and the surrounding area, especially with the convenience of a regular bus service right outside the door. It’s self-catering, but the pub next door offers excellent evening meals. I can’t praise the landlord and landlady highly enough!

This place is an absolute gem. The owner Ian was friendly and welcoming and really made an effort to get to know me. The apartment was lovely, spacious, lovely, super soft towels and a really comfortable bed. Dined at the pub downstairs two nights and the food was amazing. Also the Guinness was spot on. All in all a fantastic stay.

Perfect for a short stay providing everything I needed

Lovely apartment above a friendly and bustling local pub. Made to feel very welcome by Ian who was also really helpful and considerate. Great location near Bristol and easy access to the motorway

Very comfortable and great value for money.

Ian and Caroline were really helpful and are superb hosts. The flat was clean and tidy and provides good useful space. It is very convenient to catch the X4 bus into Bristol right outside the front door. Equally, the flat is well located outside of Bristol if you want to explore the local area. The village itself is worth exploring. We didn't use the pub downstairs in the end, but it can supply lunch and dinner, as well as drinks. Overall, this was very good value for money.

There is very little to criticise. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Room Above the Inn. My only area for suggested improvement would be to add some additional cooking facilities - perhaps a small oven or air fryer and a hot plate.

Stunning self contained apartment attached to an beautiful and charming pub. It was spotless on arrival, brilliant shower and the bed was amazing! Would recommend to anyone and stay myself time and time again!

A little hum from the kitchen extractors but minimal with all windows and doors closed.
