Katsu Hotel 新今宮

部屋が綺麗。アメニティも充実してるし、宿泊しやすい。スタッフはメッセージ上で対応のみだが部屋のランクを上げてくれたり、チェックイン、アウトの方法をこまめに伝えてくれた。

鉄の扉のせいなのか暖房が効きづらかった。 あと部屋までの細かな段差が多くて、キャリーケースなどを持っていると少しだけ不満に感じた。

I loved everything about this small room in the center of Osaka! It was like a shelter where I always went back to every night, to have dinner on the ikea table on the bed, shower and then sleep. It's a Japanese traditional room, and my bathroom was outside but private. The location is in the city center, I took the metro only to reach Osaka Castle and the Olympic park.

I couldn't turn the water of the sink hot, so it was always freezing cold. But in the shower it was ok. There was also black hair in the kettle so I never used it, but outside the room there was a microwave oven that I could use if needed.

The location are superb. Near 2 train station (JR Lines & Subway Metro). The property are great, quite enough if you bring 2 big luggages. Bathroom is quite "compact", but the other facilities are good (refrigerator, electric stove, desk etc). We came in autumn and the heater from AC is quite good. At the front, you will find public onsen to refresh you up

There's no place to hang your clothes

The location is very convenient, and the bathroom and kitchen are well-equipped. A nice extra touch is that they provide a baggage scale you can borrow, which was really helpful.

We stayed in a first-floor room and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we noticed spider webs and even a spider in the room, which was unsettling. What bothered us the most, however, was the strong smell of pesticide. The odor was overwhelming, gave us a headache, and lingered even after we opened the windows to try to air it out. While we managed to stay, the overall comfort level was very low because of this issue.
