Birsa's Rooms

Although we had to walk up the stairs leading to the house every day, our new, well-equipped, and spacious apartment with a large balcony—which offered a partial sea view—was absolutely worth it! :) We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. We had full access to a large kitchen, the balcony, a comfortable bathroom, and two bedrooms (there are five in total). If you are traveling as a group with a car, renting the entire apartment would be ideal. ​The linens and blankets were so clean that we thought they might be new (and the towels were definitely brand new!). It was always a pleasure to step into the cool apartment after being out in the hot sun (I’m not sure why it stayed so cool, but we never once had to turn on the air conditioning!). ​It takes about 15–20 minutes to walk to the city center. The famous Poetto Beach is about 30–40 minutes away by bus (depending on which part of the beach you go to). There are many historical sites, restaurants, and bars in the area. The apartment is in a quiet location; the soundproofing isn't great, but it’s rarely noisy anyway. We had a great time both in the city and in the apartment. The host was always available to answer any questions.
