The level of detail and care with each area of the "vintage cottage" home was quite a treat. ( including a Keurig downstairs by the bedrooms if one is a coffee drinker and doesn't want to walk upstairs in the morning.)You can tell there is a lot of love put into this home.There are many lovely nooks and areas for everyone to find a special place. The stand out room was the enclosed area in the trees. It really makes you feel like you are in the forest. (the first several pictures on the VRBO site)Some things to consider:-The stairs from the main level to the bedrooms are steep with shallow stair treads. They do have a sign stating to hold the rail however I can see it being tricky even for some able-bodied people. -The road to the home is narrow, especially depending on where cars are parked, There are only a few areas where 2 cars can carefully pass each other, which means one car will reverse down part of the hill in order for each to get by. Thankfully the road is not busy, everyone was neighborly and courteous, so it all worked out fine. If that makes you nervous perhaps avoid times when people are going to and from work and school.-The downstairs shower is nicely done and has wonderful water pressure.Enjoy.

We had a lovely stay with our family of 4 over Thanksgiving. Everything was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated the wood-burning fireplace since it was a bit chilly outside.
