About this house rental
Cocoonr/Book&Pay offers this charming 75 m² house for rent in Carentan-les-Marais, which can accommodate up to 6 people. It has a lovely 20 m² living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, a shower room and a 200 m² garden. Wifi, bed linen and towels included - we're waiting for you!
The accommodation comprises
Ground floor:
- 20 m² living room with TV, sleeping area with double sofa bed and dining area
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, hob, etc.
- Shower room
- Separate WC
First floor:
- Bedroom 1: one double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: two single beds and a sofa bed
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, plancha, iron and ironing board.
Outside:
- A beautiful south-east-facing 200 m² garden
- A 30m² south-east-facing terrace with furniture to make the most of the fine weather.
The house is ideally located in Carentan-les-Marais, in a very pleasant environment. All essential shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and markets are close by.
Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the house, at the bottom of the cul-de-sac.
What to do:
- Visit the Carentan marina, the ideal starting point for exploring the marshes by boat, 10 minutes' drive away.
- Explore the Parc naturel régional des Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin on foot or by bike.
- Immerse yourself in the history of D-Day at the D-Day Experience Museum at Dead Man's Corner.
- Admire the timber-framed houses and Notre-Dame church in the historic centre of Carentan.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Carentan station, 10 minutes' drive away
- Nearest airport: Caen-Carpiquet airport, a 50-minute drive away
