We booked this property at the last second when we were already in Placencia because there were issues with the property we had booked. The owner was extremely patient with me as I bombarded him with messages, trying to get things lined up. The house is very clean, well equipped and air conditioned. There are tastefully designed signs around the house which give good info about the water quality, the shower and house info like the wifi. One bedroom does not have AC but I would guess it would cool down well if the door was open. The other 2 bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning plus ceiling fans. There is soap and shampoo in the showers and dish soap in the kitchen. I only mention this because we have stayed at a place that provided none of that. One nice perk is that renting here gives you access to the Placencia Beach Club where there is a pool, beach access, restaurant and bar. They even provide towels! There are several grocery stores nearby and a coffee/ice cream/wine bar within a 5 minute walk. Placencia isn't big but this place is far enough from the pier that you would probably want at least a golf cart to get around. By car it was about 5- ish minutes to the pier but it only took that long because of all of the speed bumps! The host mentioned the road noise and even provides ear plugs if needed. My husband and I didn't even really notice the road noise. Placencia is not exactly a hotbed of nightlife so there wasn't much traffic at night. :)

Lovely 3 bedroom home associated with the outstanding Placentia Beach Club - pool, beach, restaurant. Easy walk to town on the "boardwalk" with its many restaurants and shops. Supermarket less than one block. The home is beautifully furnished and equipped, and everything is labeled with instructions for use. We'll be back!
