Location , comfortable room
Seaweed in water in front of the building…, which is not facility fault.
Very easy to walk 10-15 minutes by nice, safe sidewalk to the point ( butiks and restaurants on the way) where was nice sandy beach with nice clean water.

We had a fantastic stay at Miramar. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from the front desk staff to the housekeepers and night security. The property itself is gorgeous, full of character with beautiful tropical flowers and plants all around. There is access straight to the beach, and a pool with plenty of loungers. Location is great, lots of bars, restaurants and shops within a few hundred yards (though despite this, the hotel is very peaceful - Placencia has a relaxed rather than party vibe, though we were at the start of the slow season so quieter than usual) Adventure tours is a few doors down too and they arranged all our trips for us.
Nothing! The staff were apologetic about the sargassum (seaweed) and gave us a discount on arrival, but that's just nature - the hotels all work hard to clean the beaches and clear it from the sea, but the volume means it's not advisable to swim (as it can cause rashes). But they explained a spot we could walk to to swim that's less affected, but to be honest the sun is so strong that it was better to swim in the pool where there's more shade.

The property is very clean and smallish. It’s in a great location on the sidewalk right next to the Bohemian and a few hundred feet for the Barefoot bar and the Tipsy Tuna. Staff are great and friendly. Regina at reception is so accommodating. And the cleaning staff were exceptional. Quincy of land maintenance works so hard trying to keep the facility spotless. Especially the beach area with the constant barrage of sargassum coming in daily when we were there.
The Miramar suites are amazing. The only thing I might bring up is the beach chairs are getting old and the beach chair mats need replacing and some of the beach wooden chairs are starting to fall part.
