Les Libellules is spectacularly located on the shore of Lake Annecy in the heart of Haute-Savoie in the lovely French village of Duingt.
From the balcony you enjoy outstanding uninterrupted views of Lake Annecy, Duingt Chateau and the surrounding mountains.
Ideally situated for both summer and winter sports.
A spacious, modern, fully equipped fourth floor apartment with lift, sleeping 5 people in comfort. It is electrically heated throughout and comprises a large living/dining room with east-facing balcony, open plan fitted kitchen, two bedrooms with a further west-facing balcony, bathroom and cloakroom.
The apartment boasts a large living/dining room with exceptional views over Lake Annecy. The large glass doors from here open onto an east-facing balcony which is equipped with a bistro style table and chairs- perfect for al fresco dining. From the balcony, which stretches the length of the apartment, you can enjoy panoramic views of glittering lake Annecy, Duingt Chateau and mountains framed by Dent du Cruet (1833 m) and La Tournette (2351m).The living area is furnished with a three-seater sofa bed and two easy chairs. For entertainment there is a TV, iPod Dock, DVD player and a selection of DVDs for all ages. Backgammon, chess, dominos and other games are also available. Wireless internet access.
Leading off from the living room is the open plan kitchen. It is equipped with a fridge/freezer, full size oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine. There is an ample supply of glasses, crockery, cutlery, pans and all other kitchen essentials.
The dining area is equipped with a round glass-top table 5 dining chairs.
One of the bedrooms is equipped with a large double bed, the second bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms are well equipped with plenty of storage space in the form of both wardrobes and drawers. Both have access to a west-facing balcony with lovely views of mountains, the popular cycle route and lake Annecy.
The family bathroom is equipped with a bath with shower attachment, separate shower, toilet, bidet, wash-hand basin and washing machine. The second bathroom is fitted with a toilet and wash-hand basin.
No smoking or pets.
A concierge will meet you on your arrival to hand over the keys.
Easily reached on the route between the beautiful towns of Annecy & Albertville. Annecy 11 km, Geneva 60 km.
Walking distance from a local bakery, pedalo hire, cycle lane, water bus port, rock climbing. Paragliding & winter skiing is a short drive away.

A lovely short stay in this property, it was right on the lake for perfect for paddle boarding and swimming.

An expensive holiday in an apartment with beautiful views and a useful balcony. Perfect for a rest cure, inasmuch as there's little to do locally except to admire that view (unless you're into cycling, in which case you're in good company).

The property was well-presented and equipped, looking out on the lake and the mountains beyond from the living area. The bedrooms opened out onto the main Albertville to Annecy Road, and so were quite noisy (with the back balcony doors open) from about 6am. Fine in autumn and winter, not so good on a hot summer night, I would suspect. It was a base from which to explore elsewhere: Duingt itself isn't a tremendously lively place, and not very well served by restaurants. Not having a cafe (apart from the excellent Au Bon Wagon) left the place lacking focus. But if you want a quiet break with the occasional side trip (by bus, so easy) to Annecy for shopping or a boat trip around the lake, it's a great place to stay. I would add that getting from the apartment block's parking area to the flats themselves is a bit of a hazard, involving either a dash across a busy road, or a rather tedious walk down and up steps with a tunnel in between with a key-activated gate in the middle - it's a bore, especially when carrying shopping or luggage.

Duingt is ideally located to make the most of Lake Annecy and convenient for visitng Annecy town. Good facilities including SPAR, bike hire , boulangerie/patissierie and restaurants. Supermarkets within short driving distance.
Apartment reasonably spacious and well equipped with location really good for views of lake and mountains.
