Beach Retreat, Studio, Kuaotunu, Coromandel

Everything about my experience was exceptional. Colleen provided a ton of information in advance and during my stay to help me get the absolute most out of my visit to Kuaotunu. When I had a couple of questions she was on the spot with great answers and suggestions for good places to hike, to eat, to enjoy the beach(es). She was very accommodating and generous. The sky was so dark at night you could touch the stars, and the full lunar eclipse just capped it off beautifully. I'm traveling solo so there was a lot more space here than I needed, but it was easy to just live in the single part and I felt right at home. Easy walking distance to the beach, to some outstanding dining and local ice cream venues!

I felt totally at home and if I had to say I didn't like something, it would be that I had to leave.

This is a lovely unit in a great location on the Coromandel. It has everything u need for a short stay and is close to a lovely beach and great resturant and local store. Colleen was a great host. I loved the booklet on the history of the area and having all the leaflets of the things to do in the area. It was great to have beach towels available. The photos of this place are out of date and the unit is fresh and bright.
