Durty Nelly’s is clean, well-run, and the staff are super friendly. The location is unbeatable, right in the middle of town. My room was clean and the bed was surprisingly cozy.
It does get a bit noisy at night. Since my room was on the first floor facing the street, but they provide free earplugs, which tells you everything you need to know! If you're okay with a little city energy, it’s a great spot.

Great location (10-15min from Central Station, right on the edge of De Walle, several good inexpensive bars and restaurants right around), comfortable, clean.... but above all Marianne at the front desk was charming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
