Looking for a lake getaway without the long drive? Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom lakefront home on beautiful Coon Lake — just a quick 30 minutes north of Minneapolis, but it feels a world away.
Whether you're paddling on the lake, soaking up the sun, or just enjoying morning coffee with a waterfront view, this spot makes it easy to slow down and enjoy lake life—without the long trek up north.
The space
This charming lakefront duplex has everything you need for a stress-free getaway:
☀️ Sandy beach just steps from your door — perfect for sunbathing or building sandcastles
🔥 Lakeside fire pit for cozy nights, s’mores, and sunset chats
🛏️ Comfortable 2-bedroom layout with flexible sleeping space for families or groups
Sleeping arrangements:
Bedroom 1: 1 Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Bunkbed with Queen on bottom, Queen top, and a Twin trundle underneath
Step outside to the outdoor patio, complete with a table and chairs — ideal for sipping coffee, dining al fresco, or simply soaking in the peaceful lake vibes.
Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to escape the city (but not too far). Come enjoy the best of both worlds at our Coon Lake getaway!
Guest access
Guests will have full access to the entire 2-bedroom side of the duplex, including the upper deck, lower patio, and driveway parking.
🌊 The sandy beach and dock area are shared with the other half of the duplex, but there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy comfortably.
Please note that only one dock space belongs to this property. It is located directly across the street from the center of the house and is identifiable as the dock that connects directly to the sandy beach area.
Kindly do not use or access any other docks, as they are privately owned by other members of the community.
This is an older dock, so we kindly ask that all posted dock rules be followed for your safety and to help maintain the space.

This lake house is neat, attractive, cool, and conveniently located a few doors down from my brother’s lake house which was short on space the weekend my family wanted to get together. The only let down was that the hot tub is broken and the dock didn’t look safe enough to walk on. This was not a big deal for us since we spent most of our time at my brother’s home/hot tub/dock, but might be of concern to others coming to stay.
