Homestead Cabin Red River Gorge

The bed was the extremely comfortable! Loved it!

The place was just great, absolutely beautiful scenery. There were places relatively close like tourist attractions. I went the wrong way in which turned bad quick and was able to call owner at midnight. She answered very polite and helped me get spun around and to the location safley. They are just the kindest most considerate host I could of ever asked for. The people who were around neighbors and such were also very polite. The kids had an amazing time and I just loved deff going back a couple times a year for weekend trips.

I liked the cabin but location is not in Irvine ky, it’s in Lee county ky. So a bit deceiving.

The road getting to cabin is a bit rough and long. Was told by owner that cleaning lady would bring more towels as this place has no washer /dryer; but she never showed up. So for 5 adults we had 6 towels to use, not good! Left cabin early as did the people before us. Not good communication between cleaning lady and owner. Trash was built up from last people in toter. Lights outside don’t work and the one that did was very dim. Owner said we should have told her cleaning lady didn’t bring more towels, but I think she should follow up to make sure she is doing her job. So for me / I cannot recommend t cabin as a great stay.
