Mountain Valley Paradise

Overall the property is a great value for the price given how many people it holds. The pictures and descriptions are accurate and was very clean when we arrived. It's a great location and close enough to two park entrances, Dollywood, Townsend, Pidgeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.

A few things to be aware of: -The upstairs bedroom with a bunk bed (single over a double) is actually a loft area over the living room, so there's no real privacy. -The pool and catch & release fishing pond in the pictures is 1.9 miles away. Passes are supposed to be left in the property to allow you to use the pool, but they weren't there when we checked in, so we had to call and get them dropped off. -None of the closets or wardrobes had clothes hangers, so bring your own if you have any hanging clothing. The following information about household supplies was listed in the rental agreement we had to complete at the time of final booking: -They provide starter supplies of bath and hand soaps, dish washing liquid, dish washing detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. They advise that you might need to purchase additional supplies depending on the length of stay to replace the starter supplies. -They recommend your bring the following with you: aluminum foil, bottled water, coffee, coffee filters, coffee creamer, toiler tissue, paper towels, Kleenex, spices, cooking oils, laundry detergent and fabric softener, matches for the grill.

Good location, plenty of room for everyone. Nice big backyard. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have bedrooms on lower level. My husband has issues with his knees. Level lot, enough parking, hot tub was nice.

Needed quite a bit of maintenance. The children’s swings were too dirty to use. We didn’t have supplies to clean them. The cushions on one of the swings looked worn out and stained. Appliances needed to be updated.
