Apartment Olga - Lapad

Had everything you need in an apartment. Was nice and clean and recently been refurbished. Instructions on finding the apartment along with communication great throughout. Perfect location to walk down main strip in Lapad for restaurants. Bus stop right outside into old town.

Nothing to dislike. Not as appealing from outside as it is inside but that does t take anything away from it being a great option.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, a short walk to the beach and promenade with lots of restaurants. There is a supermarket a 2-minute walk away (Tommy) . We felt very safe in our apartment and in the Lapad area. The number 6 bus is opposite the apartment and it takes you into the old town, you can purchase tickets on the bus or at the stand by the bus stop. USE UBER - much cheaper than taxis we paid around 18-20 euros for an uber from the airport compared to 50+ euros the taxis were charging The apartment was very very clean and the host was lovely, we had landed in Dubrovnik around 11am so we waited for the apartment to be ready at the cafe/bar across the road. The host kept us updated on when the apartment would be ready. Be prepared to walk lots of steps, the apartment is on the top floor and it’s around 60 steps to get up, but very worth it for the view. The apartment is modern and nicely furnished with AC is all rooms and two large TVs with access to streaming services. Both bedrooms are a great size with large beds and lots of wardrobe space. Our favourite place to eats were- El Pulpo fish bar- we recommend booking for dinner (best fish seafood we’ve ever eaten) Fingerlickers- for a quick bite to eat Sirena - Ice cream

I believe with a few small changes this apartment could be even better. Pillows- The beds are very large and comfortable but only have 2 very thin flat pillows, 1 per person (plus a decorative pillow) for a double bed I would expect 4 pillows and much thicker softer pillows. This made a slightly uncomfortable sleep and we often used the pillows for the sofa for extra comfort Kitchen- The kitchen was well equipped but didn’t have toaster or microwave. Again this is only minor but we missed having a toaster as we made breakfast in the apartment every morning. The cupboards also had lots of food inside - pasta, sugar, oats, oil, coffee etc however they felt as if they had been left behind from the previous guests as there were left in open packaging. Moving the food into refillable jars would have made the food feel more intentional and not someones left overs

The apartment is ideally located to walk to any part of Lapad

The only drawback, there isn't a lift, this was only a problem when carrying suitcases, other than that not an issue.

Het was heerlijk schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook de locatie is uitstekend.
