Lochloosa

The property is lovely. It has almost everything you need for a self catering stay. The kitchen equipment, cleaning facilities etc are all fantastic. The iron in our property was broken and it did take a little while to get one but staff did turn up with a replacement which we were grateful for. It is on beautiful grounds and a really good location to local amenities.

We were locked out on arrival. I followed all the instructions but someone had locked the outside gate and the instructions we were given didn’t work. Eventually staff opened the gate remotely but being locked out for 35 minutes at midnight with a 3 year old wasn’t ideal. The same with the roof terrace. We had no access for 2 days as the keys had been locked outside by, I can only assume, the cleaner. Again not ideal. I don’t think the current key situation works well for this reason. Also some portable sunloungers would be a good addition to the property. Lying on the grass with the ants around the pool wasn’t relaxing.

Great location, lovely and clean with plenty of room and space for the 5 of us staying
