The location was excellent. The instructions for key collection was very good and we found it quite easily and got into the property quite easily. It would be useful to let people know there is a flight of stairs before you get to the lift. Thank God we are quite mobile and it wasn't a problem. The apartment was very close to some shops for picking up water, vegetables and the supermarket was about 10 minutes walk. They sell gluten free products for those who need them.The apartment was very clean and comfortable.
The bathroom doesnt have a door which we worked around it being sisters, maybe a few hanging beads would give the sense of privacy.. It was a lovely bathroom and great shower with plenty of hot water. Plenty of storage in the bedroom.

Lovely little apartment in a superb locaation overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed, excellent pillows (unusual in a rental!), small but very well equipped kitchen. Reasonable lounge space and small but lovely balcony overlooking the sea (perfect for sunsets). Small but functional bathroom with shower. 3rd floor with lift access from first floor so some stairs to climb, with access from a second line street. Within less than 5 minutes from bars and restaurants, and 7 minutes from a large supermarket open until 10pm every night. Excellent public transport hub for airport and Old Town, and the rest of the island if you want to explore. Host was easy to contact and sent loads of info on places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach with lovely sand, nice swimming and loads of sunbeds (4 Euros for a sun bed). Plenty of choices for different cuisines plus lots of traditional Canarian places. Highly recommended the location and the apartment.
Not having door to the bathroom/toilet was a bit strange although it's understandable given the space. Hot water for the shower runs out very quickly, but also heats up quite quickly so if you can stagger shower times, it's fine and the water is very hot. No aircon (which wasn't a problem for us in April) but if you had the bedroom window open at night, it can get a bit noisy at weekends. Lift is quite old and jerky but works fine - just be prepared!
