Fab-ul-ous views of the Canteras Beach. One of the best, unhindered and simply stunning views imaginable. The apartment was light and airy - easily done, as I was alone.

Total lack of basics in the house. We used to run an accommodation centre, and perhaps we were generous. But NO washing material at all? Not even washing up liquid. Nothing to clean any spillage (if such happened) and no welcome pack at all. We always provided a few bits and pieces to get people over the arrival/first morning. A sheet of paper explaining how things work and advice on who to call if necessary would 'be normal'. I've no idea if the TV worked but the internet was very hit and miss. I think the router is somewhere where someone accidently switches it off. I never found it – but it did work on the one night I needed it to, for a course I'm taking online. The front door (and the bathroom door) needs a good kick to get in. Getting out is very difficult as part of the locking mechanism is broken and the door sags on the floor. A major fire hazard for someone weaker and less strong than me.

The biggest issue was the doors. The main door into the building is a nightmare to open and the apartment door was also difficult(and a fire hazzard). The decor is old and in need of refurbishment. There is no air conditioning that we could see and it is extremely noisy, mainly from other apartments
