The location was really nice and pretty central to everything in Gangnam. The room was small, as expected of an officetel, but it was just spacious enough for me and I'm a pretty big individual. Sheets, pillows, towels, and even toiletries are given by the host, which adds another personal touch. I stayed at another officetel after this stay and towels were not given, which made me appreciate this space even more. Air condition works well and the bed was super comfortable, as well as the sheets provided. I take cold showers so I cannot speak of hot water or anything.

The complex in which the officetel was located felt.. a little sketchy but I never felt like I was in danger or in a weird area. That's the only thing I had against this property and it's not even a big deal.

Considering we are non Korean and not familiar with the doorlock system, we were completely happy to get assistance from our host within a few minutes. The apartment is located in an area with pretty much nightlife but we didn't any noise inside. There are many restaurants and convenient stores and bars in the neighbourhood. The shower is separated with a glass wall, which is not that common in Korea. The kitchen is pretty practical as it is made as a closet but still have everything you need.

The apartment is a little too small if you have 2 big luggages. It was also very warm at the time we were there and the air condition didn't cool down that much. The curtains are not completly darkening the room, especially in the morning. The lightswitch is located opposite of the room and not nearby the bed. Configurating the heat-up system for warm water was challenging. Considering we are non korean and not familiar with korean recycling system, this was also quite a challenge.
