Our one night stay fell below the standard that we expected. There was a mix-up with our room, the one assigned to us during booking was occupied already. Upon calling the host, we were given an alternative room. The room was clean, but there were several unpleasant smells around the property, semi-masked by far-too-much perfume. The bathroom is shared between 4 rooms in the house, the bathroom being in a poor state of repair and appeared well overused & unclean. Finally, there is no dedicated parking, and as the accommodation is located in a less affluent area, we were concerned for the safety of our car left in a nearby estate (but it was ok).
