Tropical Beach Villa by Blue Diamond 21

Great location! Very clean and comfortable for 3 couples. Communication was excellent and timely. We really enjoyed the property and felt the value was great! We would recommend it to others.

A few suggestions/things that would make it a little better: Beds and pillows are a little too firm. Appreciating this is a personal preference, mattresses that are a little softer and a few more choices of different types of pillows would be a recommendation. We were a little disappointed to discover only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towel in the kitchen for a seven day stay for 6 adults. We had to immediately purchase these items on day one. We left the extra rolls in each bathroom for the next renter’s benefit. Shopping bags would have been appreciated. We left the two that we purchased again the benefit of the next renter’s. The kitchen was functional, but a few additional essentials would make it even better appointed for guests who plan to cook regularly. As pool owners, we would suggest providing plastic cups (for soft drinks/beer) and wine glasses around the pool (to avoid the risk of broken glass in and around the pool). We actually purchased and left plastic wine glasses at the villa.

The property was beautifully presented and extremely well equipped. The pool and outdoor space was lovely. There was good attention to detail with lovely furnishing touches. We enjoyed a morning cup of coffee watching the sun rise on our balcony. The property was located close to the beach, coastal path and golf courses which gave something for all the family. Two beach bar/restaurants were within walking distance with good food and friendly staff. Our flight was delayed but the manager was happy to place the key in a lockbox and send us the code. We enjoyed the kayaking from the beach to the see the caves and rock formations at the Ponta Da Piedada. We can highly recommend George from Lagos Kayaking as a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We walked the Fisherman’s Path to Luz and explored Burgau and Salema, both within a short drive.

If I’m being very picky a couple of baking trays would have been useful. My daughter is coeliac and to avoid cross contamination we bought silver foil and used this. I want to stress that this was a very minor point and didn’t affect our stay. Otherwise the property is been very well appointed.
