Luxury 1-bed Near MCR Hospital & City Centre

First and foremost, the apartment owner went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Traveling from Europe, we somehow completely forgot that UK had different wall outlets, and upon request he provided us with a plug + cable until we managed to find an adaptor. He also helped us when our wifi got disconnected, even though it was late in the night. The apartment itself is furnished as well as the space allows. The bed was comfortable, the couch as well. Bathroom was new and felt luxurious, and the kitchen, although a little cramped (especially for 2 chefs) had everything we needed (we almost missed the pepper, which was in a fancy grinder on the living room table). The apartment and area felt safe. It is a stone's throw from a lovely park, and 10 minutes away from the tram that leads into the city. There is also an enormous Tesco about 15 mins walk away.

We had quite some trouble with the front door, that needed a bit of force (and the correct technique) to be opened. The neighbouring courtyards right by the bedroom window housed perhaps some of the angriest and most vocal cats I've ever met. They acted as alarm clocks in the morning. Hopefully they don't sing year-round (and they never came anywhere near contact with us).
