The Garden

Location was incredible--literally 2 blocks from the beach. All restaurants and shopping were in walking distance. The town was so charming! Suzy was so kind and accommodating and her whole staff was always solicitous and friendly. They let us borrow beach towels and the breakfast had a nice variety of options. The room was spacious and very clean--it had a beautiful bathroom with an apartment feel because it had a small kitchen with amenities for reheating leftovers, etc. My college age kids loved staying here in Maiori because they really felt like we were immersed in the Italian culture, living amongst locals of this beautiful seaside town. There are only a few mini-apartments/rooms at The Garden, and Suzy runs it like a bed and breakfast. She lives on the main level. When I first booked, I was unsure whether this was a hotel or more of an AIR BnB so I hope this clarifies it for anyone who also had questions about how it was run.

Maybe the sofa bed could have been more comfortable.

Absolutely loved this location. Served us perfectly as a base for our holiday. Rooms were clean and the staff were so nice and especially good with the kids.

The only personal opinion I have is that the beds were too far on the firm side for my liking

Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Wenn Sie viele schwere Koffer haben, müssen Sie diese die Treppe hinauf in den ersten Stock tragen:)

Posizione perfetta sia per la spiaggia che per il porto, il parcheggio è un importante plus, ci è stato permesso di lasciare la macchina anche dopo il check out. Camera come da foto. Host molto cortesi.

Migliorerei la colazione, offrendo delle alternative durante i vari giorni di soggiorno, e ampliando la selezione (magari almeno delle torte, dei biscotti o altro oltre al cornetto).
