The property is comfortable well positioned for city break

One of the key safes for entrance is faulty and jams at times. Had to leave keys in other one on exit. There appears to be a leak in downstairs bathroom Not sure if was. due to rain coming in through roof or something else. Also plug for bath was missing. Otherwise everything else was very comfortable for our needs.

Location for town and river sightseeing

Lovely location - short walk from the centre which was ideal for our needs.

The house was great, the bedroom on 3rd floor was very comfortable - 2 flights of steps would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues.

Good location and close to the town. Off road parking which is needed as a busy road.

Anyone taking a dog needs to know that there is a £50 surcharge which is not mentioned when you book. This only becomes apparent when you get to the property and scan the welcome pack. The cleaners did lie and say that we used their towels to clean our dog which is absolutely untrue as we took a large bag of our own. In a property that sleeps 6, there are two bathrooms, but one is en suite, the second bathroom is at the back of the kitchen, two flights of stairs down from the third bedroom, a long way to go for the toilet, and of limited privacy. Given that it is quite hard to find an evening meal in Hereford, the kitchen is rudimentary- the draining rack is too big for the draining board, the dishwasher returns the dishes dirtier than when we put them in, and I had difficulty finding space to lay out three plates to serve a meal. There was quite a lot of someone else’s food debris in the dishwasher and who knows how long that had been there. Decided it safer to wash by hand! Under its throw, the sofa is badly stained and dirty, one of the toilet brushes was covered with poo, and the paintwork is peeling in places. We could not really recommend this house for a family, as three adults, we managed for our short stay
