Dar Tamatert

It was a great guest house in a working berber village. It felt a lot more authentic than the busyness of Imlil. It was very calming. Beautiful views from the terrace and the balconies. We were high up in the mountains it was gorgeous and quiet. We had a great breakfast and the evening meals were very tasty. The locals in the village were very friendly and there is a small shop.to buy simple supplies.

There was a kettle in the room but no cups. Please note that the location is down a series of steps and can be challenging to carry cases from the carm

De locatie is prachtig en de mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en willen duidelijk het beste voor hun gasten.

De locatie was afgelegen, we moesten een paar trappen lopen vanaf de auto naar de accommodatie. De airconditioning werkte niet goed, leek geen goede stroomtoevoer te krijgen. De stopcontacten waren sowieso moeilijk in gebruik, ik kreeg zelf de stekker er amper/niet in. Na hulp wel gelukt maar toen ging de airco dus knipperen en hebben we hem toch maar uitgezet voor de zekerheid/veiligheid. Het 1persoonsbed was erg hard. Het is erg gehorig, als andere gasten hun deur openen is dat alsof jouw deur wordt geopend. De hanen buiten zijn er ook vroeg bij. Daarnaast was er in de badkamer een flinke rioollucht en in de ochtend sterke brandlucht. Vanwege de vriendelijkheid van de mensen gun ik deze accommodatie heus goede beoordelingen, maar na 2 weken reizen door Marokko waarbij specifiek gekeken naar beoordelingen met 9+, vinden wij dat deze accommodatie eerder rond de 6 scoort.

Amazing room, very comfortable bed and shower and outside of the mess of the inner city. The people who work there are the kindest and the food they make you is super tasty. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here. They also connected us with @izouran trip adventures (Jamal) our super nice hiking guide. Me and my boyfriend are super happy with this place!
