Great rooms, very nice personnel, excellent food!

Lovely homely, authentic chalet feel with excellent service. The pool was a real bonus and the views were stunning.

The only suggestion would be to have somewhere to get refreshments and a snack during the day

In the heat of summer access to a fridge would have been really useful to keep drinks cool . It’s a 25 minute walk from the centre of the village of Imlil, but in some ways nicer because it is very peaceful .

On the positive side, the hotel has a nice view of the valley and the mountains. The food is also very good. The location is pleasant (quiet) but not easy to reach (you're better off if you have a car, otherwise it's a long steep walk up the hill from the town).

We stayed in three rooms, and every one of them had a problem with the shower head falling off the wall;- either the mouting hook was broken, or loose, or completely missing. Nearly all the doors squeaked and scraped loudly when opened, and the bathrooms all had bad smells, and the shower drains didn't work (flooded the bathroom each time). A lot of light bulbs also didn't work. Compared to the previous ratings I read before booking, I would have expected better than this. I know it is not easy maintaining a good quality at this type of location, but making sure the showers worked and the doors were oiled is not a major difficulty. Hopefully the owner reads this and can take measures to rectify these.
