The Old stables Barn

Absolutely lovely property, so spacious, which was great for our family gathering.Plenty of off road parking (we had 4 cars at one point on the drive) which is always an added bonus. Beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding and plenty of fresh towels.The pool table was a great addition and well used during our stay. The garden was huge and secure, but due to the bad weather we didn't use it, but in the summer it would be great. Location was fantastic, loved the farm/zoo across the road, which is definitely worth a visit. Arrived in the middle of a storm, the whole area was in total darkness due to a power cut. The owner came and immediately went to buy us some battery operated LED lights which were perfect until the electricity was restored. Luckily it wasn't cold, but once power back on the property warmed up very quickly. Plenty of bins outside, for recycling, rubbish etc. We all agreed we will definitely be back to The Old Stables Barn.

The wet room in the main bedrooom had mould on the blinds. Could have done with a doormat at the front door and either a coat rack or hooks at the back door / utility area and a cupboard to put the mop, hoover etc in. No microwave. Pretty petty comments to be honest and by no means did these spoil our stay.
