We had a lovely stay.
The location is perfect. In a more traditional part of conil, away from the noise and busy areas. Still plenty of cafes, bares and excellent restaurants around. Short walk to the city centre and around 15 minutes to the beach.
The staff was nice and helpful.
Breakfast is in the restaurant on the ground floor, it was orange juice, coffee and a massive toasted bread roll that was super tasty.
The room and bathroom were clean, traditionally decorated.
The ac wasn’t super strong but it cool down the room after a while.
The only issue we had is that there was no lift, and it was quite hard to carry the big suitcases up to the second floor.

We've been recommended this place by someone and we picked it as price was very competitive. Location is good - walking distance to old town and beach. We didn't expect much as we knew it's basic hostal but lack of cleanliness was unacceptable. When we arrived we noticed hair on bathroom floor and complementary water in the fridge was already open. Unfortunately we ignored it as we were staying only for 1 night so it wasn't a big deal.
Only after coming back after dinner we realized that bed linen was not changed after previous guests - there were hair and sand on the bed sheet. It was late at night so we couldn't do anything but it was just awful to spend a night there.
We complained about it on check out but receptionist didn't seem surprised and didn't even apologize only said he will mentioned it to manager.
Looking at previous reviews I want to believe it's was an exception but we definitely won't be coming back. Shame because this place had a potential to be our regular in Conil.
