Sea View Retreat

Everything was great! Elevator for moving luggage between floors. Felt very secure. We liked having so much space. Great shower. Very helpful host!

The location as far as parking goes. Very steep streets and often had to park away from the building which made hauling bags difficult.

The location was great just outside Funchal and near to Airport approximately 15 minutes drive. The property was clean and owner was proactively helped us on WhatsApp as well for any queries we had.

Parking is little troublesome especially the basement parking if you’re coming with a Fiat500, you will be good. But anything bigger is a problem in basement parking in the building. I scratched my car bumper, thankfully I had a full insurance. Also, bringing car out of parking was a challenge as well, thankfully one neighbour lady was there to help us get out. No issues although if you park on street.

apartment is spacious, we really enjoyed having 2 bathrooms, nice dea view, and to find parking spor around wasn’t an issue. Washing machine also was a mice addition especially after hikes, when the clothes got muddy.
