Wonderful welcome & hospitality from the owners. Such lovely quiet surroundings, beautiful grounds & a cozy perfectly equipped cottage. We absolutely loved the week.

Comfy bed .lashings of hot water for soaks in the bath.kitchenette was functional and had all the basics.The garden was beautiful and many hours were spent outside just listening to birdsong.Rhona our Dobermann loved it and we could relax knowing that the garden was secure for her.The hosts were great and approachable and just let us enjoy the place .The cottage is the perfect place to just stop and just be.We will definitely be back.

The little cottage all though on the small side it has all the home comforts you need, beautifully laid out, clean and cosy, with exceptional views and a garden attached. Cosy and off the grid it is a perfect stay for those who want to get away from it all. Dianne the host is very welcoming and explained the area well. There are lots of areas to walk and explore where you will probably meet several farm animals in a gorgeous landscape. A few miles away are amenities such as a farm shop and pub, so bring some supplies with you if you are planning on staying put. All in all I would highly recommend Yarde Cottage as a peaceful getaway.
