One of the best view properties in Kandy. I loved the swing at the balcony. Breakfast was not bad. Room was clean but bathroom not good at all. Overall It's somehow value for the money.

We arrived here on 25/10/2025 and stayed for one night, departing the next day. Actually, a one-night stay. We paid 35683.00 rupees for one night with breakfast included for the Suite Spa. 1st, let me talk about the positive things. The Breakfast was absolutely amazing. I took the Sri Lankan breakfast for my wife and me to Western Breakfast. Both were tasty and kinda beyond our expectations and our compliments to the chef. And their room service was on point. They were available whenever you gave a call. Unfortunately, I have to talk about negative stuff too
1. The pictures on the internet posted by the owner or the hotel itself are misleading. It is totally different when you go there. For the balcony access, you have to exit the room, go out, open a door, and enter the balcony. Jacuzzi in the room I don't think it can be used without spilling water everywhere because it is not sealed from every side properly (we didn't take the risk of using it). And in the entrance, the lower corner of the wall was mouldy. There are some glass windows in the room, one of which we tried to open, but they would not open. There was an ugly curtain which we removed by ourselves because it was obstructing the view. While we were entering, the curtains were hanging from two sides and suspended in midair thanks to a hook; otherwise, they would have fallen down.
2. The TV in the room was non-functional. I mean the TV turns on itself, but there was an error saying PeoTV connection severed due to delayed payments. I informed the hotel staff, who admirably tried to fix it, but it didn't work out.
3. The worst-case scenario was the water supply to the bathroom. It turns off from time to time. Even while you are taking a bath. I had to call the hotel staff multiple times to get it fixed, and had to wait in the bathroom until they fixed it. That was a terrible experience.
So, is it worth the amount of money we paid? Absolutely not. You can get a premium experience in a well-reputed starred hotel for that price. I would not choose this place again for a stay. Two staff members are there, and they are both working very hard to keep things afloat. They are both nice people, and the chef's skills are really admirable. But this place needs a remodelling to accommodate customers more comfortably. The total bill after dinner was nearly 39k. And that was way too much due to all the mishaps we went through. Don't be deceived by the pictures on the internet.
