Asiri Villa

The best pool in Sri Lanka. It was crazy good. The room was spacious, contemporary and immaculate. The Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. The staff super friendly and helpful. A short walk into town. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing room Bathroom was really good Staff are very helpful and welcoming Gardens and pool are very nice to enjoy Breakfast was plentiful, on our second night we needed to leave early in the morning for a tour but the hotel kindly made us breakfast to go which was very much appreciated

Nothing at all !

The villa is new and its exterior is beautiful. The location is okay—a few minutes with a tuk-tuk to Hiriketiya. It's mostly calm at night.

- No daily cleaning. We stayed for three nights and asked to have our room cleaned on the second, as there was already sand in the room and on the terrace. The receptionist was surprised by the request but eventually agreed. - No drying rack. We needed to get creative with wet beach and shower towels as there was no place to hang them to dry. - Common areas (staircase, breakfast room) are super dirty. - Strange noises in the Villa during the night. It sounded like a washing machine/drying machine was working super loudly all night, every night. - Unprofessional staff. There is a common area with a couch and a TV. One day, as we were resting in our room (right next to the TV area), the receptionist was watching a movie there at what seemed like maximum volume. There is no soundproofing, so we felt like we were sitting in the cinema. The price for the Villa is quite high, so we expected something better. We stayed in homestays during the trip that were four times cheaper and offered better value for money.
