The chance to be in a real hipster part of town nestled on a hill as the Northern Asheville folks live.
The space you have for yourself was a real treat, including upper deck, shaded parking, entry hall, etc. The A/C system and fans were top too. The light is amazing and you've got windows all around all rooms with a view!
If you are a quiet, respectful couple, and outdoorsy, you'll enjoy this airbnb.
The fact that the wooden floor cracks a little as you walk and that the owner(s) live right below makes me self-conscious, in the evening, personally. You'd have to keep it down after 10 pm if you're in the main room.

It was such a cozy comfortable place to stay and it was very peaceful. I personally like when a property owner leaves you alone but offers to help in any way if needed and they did that, I couldn’t say enough about the owners, and how clean the property was. If you are looking for a cozy place in a really great location this is the one!
Cannot say there was anything I didn’t like, it was perfect!

Within walking distance of downtown, a farmers market right down the hill on Saturday mornings, a great hiking trail with a view right above the property. We were well accommodated for (kitchen appliances, utensils, coffee, creamer, great heating system, very comfortable bed and pillows, even shampoo and body wash) and everything was very clean. The cottage is connected to the owners home but is closed off from the main home, has a separate entrance and parking area.
