About this cottage rental
This pretty house of 90m2 for 4 people (+ 2 as an extra person) is part of a large property of 3 hectares in the countryside at the entrance of the town of Cholet, near Puy du Fou, oriental park of maulévrier, banks of the Loire,
All stone, cerused wood, antique furniture, very nice homemade bed linen, view of Nature all around, large enclosed garden and heated swimming pool open to all during the day, heated to 29 degrees! At 400m the Etang des Noues 35 hectares of water, the forest with its large alleys for walks! At the entrance of the cottages, in the countryside a small guinguette offers you a refreshment bar with local beers, wines of the region, wooden games, table football, darts etc.. A real pleasure! The children
also really like the playground for them, and the animals that live all around us! the donkeys, the little horses, the sheep !! a little paradise in the middle of nature! Very ecological, our houses offer you a stay in the countryside, where you take the time to sit down, breathe and relax! see you soon maybe if you have a large family we have other cottages around, including a cottage adjoining the Maison de Coutil which can become communicating for a stay of 10 people !! so nice!
Beds are made before your arrival, towels, dish towels, ecological and organic cleaning products are provided (dishwasher tablets, sponges, garbage bags etc.), as well as the basic groceries are at your disposal (sugar, salt, pepper, tea, coffee etc.)
THE SWIMMING POOL: In spring and summer, in one of our barns a large heated swimming pool is at your disposal, on an enclosed area of 100 m2, it is surrounded by stone walls, plants and chocolate wood. It measures 3.5m by 9m and from 1.30m to 1.55m deep. It is heated to 29 degrees and the water is treated by UV which allows us to use as few chlorinated products as possible to better respect the environment and our health. In addition, it turns out that UV lamps are now also used in public and hospital places to disinfect places against covid, we are delighted with this natural way of treating water!
It is a very relaxing place, very intimate because it is out of sight, sheltered from the wind and very safe to avoid risks for children! The swimming pool is open from 10 am to 7 pm for all with night parties sometimes offered according to availability and it is privatized in the evening from 7 pm to 10 am for people who rent the Poolside Room! It is open from April to the end of October.
PLAYGROUND: Not far from the farmhouse, a large wooden playground for children offers small towers, suspension bridge, rope, slide, swings, etc... For the older ones, badminton ping pong table and if necessary at the guinguette La P'tite Ferraille installed on the property, full of Molki games, Corn Hole, various games. The children must of course always be under your supervision, thank you in advance
OUR ANIMALS:Around us live our animals, they are very quiet and serene, and will be delighted to come and nibble on apple peels and be petted!
Donkeys, sheep, angora goats... it's a real pleasure!
Thank you for making sure that they can live quietly near you without being too disturbed, and they will come to see you on their own if you wish so that we can pet them and enjoy their good vibes!
OUR LOCATION: We are in the countryside in Cholet, 2kms from the entrance of the city and the shops and restaurants, in Maine et Loire, 60kms from Nantes and Angers, an interesting crossroads.
At 400m, is the Etang des Noues and the forest which extends over hundreds of hectares and which offers us large forest alleys where we can go for beautiful walks, pony, water skiing, sports, or even stop at the water's edge to enjoy this beautiful site.
2000 meters on the other side of the pond and our site is is the entrance to the city of Cholet with all the shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, grocery stores, bakeries, the contrast is surprising and it's very convenient!
On foot or by bike, you can go shopping by walking a few hundred meters in the countryside!
We are 5 minutes from the city center, 25 minutes from the Puy du Fou, 10 minutes from the Oriental Park of Maulévrier, 20 minutes from the first castles of the Loire, the vineyards, the banks of the Loire, and only 45 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonnes, the Atlantic coast is close by you can go to Pornic, Noirmoutier, La Rochelle to spend the day!
LA GUINGUETTE: We are lucky to have a nice peaceful guinguette at the entrance of the property, La P'tite Ferraille, there is a refreshment bar with local drinks, beers, wines, syrups, tea, herbal teas... games, book hut, thrift store, lanterns, pretty garlands, and above all a very friendly welcome and a place full of charm, recycled spirit, wrought iron, exhibition of paintings, deckchairs.... happiness :) pleasure Sophie and jluc Les Gîtes de l'Etang des noues in CholetPGJyPg
DOG FRIENDLY COTTAGES: dogs and cats are accepted, on request because we have sheep and animals on site so your animals must be nice!
We offer PET CARE if necessary, for visits to places where dogs are not allowed, you leave your dog in your cottage, during the day, after presentation with you of course, we go to see him often and we walk him, and make him squirrels:) we send you news, photos and videos throughout the day to reassure you!
