The three mile sandy beach, which overlooks Swansea Bay, is ideal for surfers, and cyclists and walkers can safely ride or walk right along the front on the purpose built tracks. Port Talbot offers shops, pubs, cafes, eating places, a cinema, play areas and the Afon Lido leisure centre, whilst the attractions of Margam Country Park, the scenic Afan Forest, with its mountain bike trails, wondrous waterfalls and the vibrant cities of Swansea and Cardiff are not too far away. A delightful place to stay, all year round.
