A beautiful place to hold the 40th birthday party we we attending.
Everything!! It’s in a lovely setting and a stunning building. Our bedroom was very comfortable and warm and well decorated.

Not the most relaxing stay this time.
We have stayed several times before so returned. Great Restaurant. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
It's not the hotels fault, but I had to call reception due to excessive noise past midnight from residents above our bedroom! You could hear every footstep. The rooms on the 2nd floor should be carpeted. Also damp in the bathroom and radiator not working and also the bathroom cabinet light was not working and extremely loose tap.

Grand building, beautiful reception and good food in the restaurant.
The restaurant and the entrance/reception area. Also good full English breakfast.
The grounds needed some tlc, and some of the decor in the rooms felt a bit cheap.

Bed was comfy and the room was clean.
There was no hot water or heating in the room due to an issue with the boiler

Great country hotel, not top-end but good value for the cost
Room was perfectly adequate. Staff friendly. Main entrance area was grand and looked very beautiful. Parking was nice and easy.
Bathroom a little tired but reasonable for the low price.
