A very nice setting and lovely grounds/views.
It was mostly fine but the wifi didn't seem to work- and it would be good to have a leaflet explaining everything in the room. It's quite remote so one needs a car to get there. A few small things could have been better for a hotel in this price range.

When i arrived i was welcomed by a polite gentleman and then went to my room before going out. Place is set in beautiful surroundings
The room was a little small and shall we say cramped. The bathroom window had no blind and as the shower was set higher not sure how many people were able to see me shower which was odd

The location was fantastic, and very close to the M4 motorway.
No lift / elevator in the hotel.

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, good variety to choose from, breakfast staff was wonderful. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional, again the staff were friendly and helpful.
The first rooms we were put in were awful, very small, wallpaper coming off the walls and a badly stained chair to sit on. Not what I was expecting compared to the photos on their site. After complaining to the reception staff we were moved into other rooms which were much better and more as one would expect for the price paid.
