Nice country setting, staff were welcoming and very helpful
Restaurant service was poor, although after talking to hotel staff we found out that it is a different business run from the same property.

What a gorgeous building. Amazing location, less than 15 mins from whatever you want to go.
Room was nice and clean. But furniture was a bit on the old and worn side

Beautiful grounds. Room was lovely and clean. Old building that could do with some maintenance.
Breakfast was very disappointing. We were told at check-in that breakfast was 8-10am, we went down at 9:15am and the cooked breakfast had clearly been sat there since 8am. The scrambled egg had been sat there so long it was turning grey, and the food was only luke warm. My husband asked for a fried egg as we were told at check-in that we could request things for breakfast, he was told they couldn’t fry an egg for him. There wasn’t much about the customer service at breakfast either, we walked in and there was a young girl there tidying the tables, she didn’t say good morning or explain how it worked, we had to go and ask her if it was help yourself.
