Step into the timeless charm of our beautifully restored 1932 duplex in the heart of University Park. This spacious 2,700 sq ft upstairs unit blends vintage character with modern amenities, offering a truly one-of-a-kind stay. From the original plaster walls and intricate mouldings to the iconic bumblebee-tiled bathroom, every corner tells a story of history and style.
Though nearly a century old, the home has been thoughtfully updated for comfort—curated art, contemporary furnishings, and high-end touches make it as cozy as it is captivating. Please note: this is an upstairs unit and includes two flights of stairs. For the safety of little ones, we kindly ask that children not play on or climb the stairs unattended.
Inside the Home
Enter through a secure, code-controlled door and head upstairs to the bright and welcoming second-floor living area. You’ll find:
• A spacious living room perfect for relaxing or gathering.
• A formal dining room and fully-equipped kitchen ready for home-cooked meals.
• The first bedroom features a firm Tempur-Pedic king-size bed and large flat-screen TV.
• Access to the Tree-Top Deck. Enjoy the 300 sq ft deck suspended in the air and surrounded by forest.
• The second bedroom includes a medium-firmness Tempur-Pedic queen bed and wall-mounted smart TV.
• At the end of the hall is the whimsical and beloved bumblebee-tiled bathroom—a nod to the home’s playful heritage.
Third-Floor Retreat
Upstairs on the third floor, enjoy a second, more private living space that includes:
• A cozy lounge with two sofas and a large smart TV.
• A massage chair for ultimate relaxation.
• A king-size bed tucked into its own nook.
• A second full bathroom for added convenience.

This place was absolutely incredible! Let alone being in a beautiful neighborhood, it felt secluded with all the trees in front & back surrounding the upper deck. All of the nooks and crannies were so fun and creatively designed. It has plenty of room and we loved the upstairs which felt like an entirely separate living space. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Comfortable, pristinely clean, and unique property in a very safe neighborhood that is so convenient for shopping,SMU visitors and many Dallas fun spots and restaurants. Michael and his beautiful wife---very friendly!--- were attentive, left goodies and drinks in fridge and were quick to respond when needed. We also appreciated the toys for the grandkids....a huge hit! The grandkids enjoyed looking out the big windows and watching neighborhood walkers with their pets and the birds building nests....quite a treehouse view! Property is second and third floors so extra exercising during your visit is not necessary! Thanks so much for allowing us to stay!
