Owners were awesome! It was really our kind of place and wish we would have found it sooner as we would have stayed longer. It was 2 blocks from main street in Hill City. Perfect walking distance. The wine & beer room was amazing! Patio, fire pit, grills, tables to sit & eat or just hang out. They had outdoor games too! I hope someday we can go back and visit them again! Very well worth it!

My roomie and I stayed in room 10, and we were a little concerned at first because our door was not locking properly, but we talked to the staff about it, and they were happy to help! My roommate and I biked to Hill City from Deadwood, and this place was perfect just for the night. It had a cozy little atmosphere and was close enough to downtown and the Mickleson Trail. It was everything we needed!
There was some soap spilled on the floor of the bathroom, but other than that, it was perfectly fine.

Excellent location in Hill City for local restaurants and to connect to Custer and other areas. Maggie was in charge of the checkin information and the beverages they had available at a small but well appointed little cabin. Maggie is sweet, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and is the perfect face for this operation. We stayed in cabin #8 which was small but big enough for the two of us and everything was spotless. The beds were also very comfortable.
The internet connection from our cabin was nonexistent, streaming was out of the question but I couldn’t even look at email or send a text. If Internet at your hotel is important you might rethink this place.

Really a hotel room but felt like our own cabin in a woodsy spot. Homey, cozy. Loved being able to open the sliding door and just have the screen. Had all the necessaries: fridge, cable, wifi, clean, warm, etc. Cute pub/outdoor gathering area. Easy short walk into town.
couldn't get the lock on the screen door to work though didn't really need to lock anything......
