Communication no number on the caravan no information where it was drove round the site twice then stumbled on it

We had a wonderful stay at Small Grove in Ingoldmells. The caravan was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The location was absolutely perfect — close to everything. A special thank you to the lovely staff at The Villager Hotel who were welcoming and friendly throughout. This was truly a great family getaway, and we’d definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

It's in a fantastic location, once you find it, directly opposite Fantasy Island and very close to Butlins. The caravan itself is well equipped and a lovely place with plenty of room.

The entrance to Small Grove is not signposted or particularly noticeable from the main road. It is down the side of a pub (The Villager), with no proper road access as such, it just looks like a pathway. When I arrived there was no reception to report to and no staff on hand to help. I drove around the caravan site and was told by a resident that there was only one caravan on the site which isn't a permanent home so it was probably that one I was looking for. I rang the number supplied on booking.com and was told to report to the Villager pub next door. I hadn't received any information prior to my arrival about this or any of the procedures etc. Despite paying the full amount of rental well in advance of my stay, I still had to pay a £55 deposit on arrival, which again, had not been explained. When I eventually got the keys and got into the caravan it was a nice place with plenty of room and amenities. However, the balcony and surrounding fencing of the caravan and decking was in a terrible state of cleanliness. There was dirt and cobwebs, dust etc all the way around and looked like it hadn't been swept or cleaned for a very, very long time. I went around with the broom I found in the cleaning cupboard and attempted to clean it up as best as I could and sprayed it all with disinfectant. The stay itself was peaceful enough and pleasant. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with single beds (3 in total). There are two toilets and one shower which all worked fine. There is a dishwasher, oven and microwave and a good size fridge-freezer. There is a TV but no wifi. I was very disappointed at this, I understand that not everywhere has Internet but in a holiday home I did expect there to be something. This was a massive downside to me. On the day I checked out, it states on booking.com that you need to do so between 9-10am. However, the pub is obviously locked at this time and there was nobody around again.
