Some slight leaking of which we didn’t get to the bottom of, but in communication with hosts.

The house has a lovely, homely feel with everything you need for a weekend’s stay. We stayed as a group of friends so having multiple bathrooms and separate toilet/shower rooms was very helpful. Access to the house was easy with a key lock box. Plenty of parking nearby. The beds were comfy. The fireplace is a nice cosy feature on a chilly evening. And we liked having the hot tub. Dishwasher also a plus with dishwasher tablets provided. The location was good for what we wanted it for (Three Peaks hike, around 30 mins drive from Ingleborough/ viaduct start point), sleepy quiet village setting with a nice pub/hotel restaurant and a decent shop with fuel garage.

The property should have been cleaner. There were crumbs in the cutlery drawer, the stairs didn’t look like they’d been vacuumed very well/at all and the oven hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. The hot tub also could do with a thorough clean/water change as it had dirt/residue. The hot tub could also have done with being a bit hotter (there was a button to change the temperature setting but it didn’t seem to work).

Property was lovely, clean, warm with everything we needed. Great spot for relaxing or for the more adventurous.

Hi, I stayed at The Nook Aysgarth last weekend for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) with my sisters, best friend and our 2 mums (both in their 80s) I hope you take this feedback as examples of opportunity to improve which is why I will not be posting this feedback for public view. I have to start by saying we were all rather disappointed with a number of items. I’ll list below Outside Hot Tub - not hot enough/ only half jets working, and didn’t smell very clean; I was assured it had been cleaned but to what standard??. Untidy- see pictures Bbq very dirty Inside Kitchen- wine fridge not working. Pans not compatible to hob. This was a major problem as we ate in every evening No bean to cup coffee machine as promised (had to drive and buy filter coffee instead). Can opener does NOT work. Again caused us problems for planned meals. No cocktail glasses (again I enquired beforehand and was assured there were some) Bathroom ground floor Toilet flush not working properly Bathroom 1st floor No bin. Soap dispensers not working. Loose towel rail fell off wall onto my 88 year old mum, who cut herself catching it Twin Bedroom mirror would be nice En-suite Toilet flush not working properly General Cleanliness very poor throughout. Pizza crust on floor from last guests when we arrived Cobwebs throughout. Skirting dirty. All kitchen drawers dirty. Bathrooms, limescale. clothes airer would be nice Top floor bedroom, bottom cupboard in very drawer set under velux will not open because of carpet. Flooring Very very poor and dangerous throughout. Trip hazards of the tiles for all ages. I know that is quite an exhaustive list but it is all true and I hope you see it as constructive feedback. This is the verbatim email I sent.
