A lovely little apartment in a fabulous location for me, not having a car. The host was very responsive and it was easy to communicate in English. All I needed was a bed, a bathroom, and some tranquillity and this was more than satisfied. There are busses from Capalbio to the railway station and to the Tarot Garden but make sure to stand on the main road to get the bus back from the Tarot Garden! Grazie mille to Anna, the random stranger, who gave me a lift when I missed that bus.
Communicating via Booking.com was a bit awkward and I didn't get the key code until I was standing outside the apartment and went in search of messages on the website. Switching to WhatsApp was much better. I didn't notice the air conditioning until the morning and I didn't know how to work the coffee machine. I would have found some written notes about the facilities helpful.
