I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Salento during my visit to the Eje Cafetero. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The hotel has a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the region.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout my stay. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how helpful everyone was with recommendations and making sure I had everything I needed.
The location was excellent for exploring Salento, visiting coffee farms, and enjoying the incredible scenery of the area. After a day of sightseeing, it was always a pleasure to return to such a peaceful and charming hotel.
Thank you to the entire team for making my trip so enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Coffee Region. ☕🌿✨

We were happy with our stay at this lovely hotel and recommend it as a convenient place for folks who’ve traveled to hike to see the giant palms. Our room was clean (although quite chilly), the wifi and hot shower worked well, and the hardworking kitchen staff provided fast, delicious, hot breakfasts. We had hoped to buy a packed lunch for our hike but this hotel does not provide that resource and told us there’d be places to buy food on the hike, which there are Not, so stock up on water and snacks before that adventure. We appreciated the hotel’s help, though, arranging drivers to & from the airport at Pereira. Gracias, Samuel, for being such a safe driver - we enjoyed visiting with you!

The room I was given did not match the photos advertised with a view. My room had no view at all, only facing another room. In addition, I had to wait around three hours for check-in, which was inconvenient. The breakfast was also not very impressive. More transparency in room descriptions and a smoother check-in process would greatly improve the guest experience.
