Surf Mist at Surf Beach

Surf Mist was an exceptional property - lovely layout, and very spacious. Master bedroom, walk through wardrobe and ensuite were beautiful. The views from upstairs were really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Back yard was secure and the dog loved playing out there. Most everything we needed was there, and house still had a new feel. High end finishes and very comfortable.

when we arrived, some of the bathroom bins hadn't been emptied, and then the cleaner turned up in the hallway after 4 pm unexpectedly with some tea towels for us. The rubbish bin outside was also 3/4 full, so by the time we left it was very full. As the house is on the main road, the balcony is virtually unusable as the traffic noise is all day long - the line of traffic never stops unless you sit up at 2am in the morning. This didn't spoil our stay, as the view was lovely looking out from inside, but I expected we would use the balcony a lot. In the end, we barely used the balcony at all. Unfortunately, we lost power for the last day and a half due to a storm. Although this was unavoidable, we were paying for facilities we couldn't use which was annoying.

Next to a busy road but road noise was not an issue until u were in the balcony. Could have a better stocking of essentiall items such as toilet rolls,hand wash,complimentary milk and kitchen utensils

Very spacious house, great for a large number of people. Great location

Could have had a few platters & serving dishes as we did cook & had numerous cheese plates.

The location is superb. The views are from the property is definitely the thing you pay for

The property was made well, but did not have any facilities inside. I shows it had a wood fire over, however no tools to move the fire around or rotate the pizza in the oven. That was such a let down cz I feel I paid more for this feature. They also asked me pay additional for linen - but the linen was fairly cheep as the towels pilled on body after shower. That’s not what you expect after I pay additional for the linen. The pantry was not at stainless which was also such a disappointment . There was no oil, salt or pepper , only one reusable rag (while they knew that I I was straying from Friday -Tuesday!- booking was also for 10 people!) not enough garbage bins bags, the actual garbage bin was overflowing from before my stay, there were also outdoor heater attached on the ceiling in the balcony but my way for us to use them. I didn’t feel happy because of these things . The balcony further was also super dirty.
