The accommodation is in a good location, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed, and the place is spacious. It also had that French charm, which we really liked.

Despite the great potential of this accommodation, we were unfortunately quite shocked when we arrived. The place was dusty, as if it had not been rented out for quite some time before us. To our surprise, there were mouldy mattresses stored in the laundry room, and one bathroom plus two bedrooms were located in the basement, which we were not expecting. In one of the bedrooms there was not even a working light, so we had to move a night lamp from another room for the children. The sofas in the living room also did not seem very clean, so we did not feel comfortable sitting on them. What was fine was the bed linen, which clearly seemed to have come from a laundry service. The shampoo, hand soap, dishwashing liquid and kitchen sponge were also brand new, so there is nothing to complain about there. The outdoor areas, especially the terraces, were very dirty. We could only use the outside table after washing it, and the same applied to the area around the pool and the sun loungers — we had to sweep and clean them before using them. The pool itself was fine, although small, and the children really enjoyed it. Overall, after we cleaned things ourselves, the place became livable, but this is not how guests should be welcomed. It left the impression of an abandoned house. As an interior designer, I could see a lot of potential in this property, and with a little care and attention it could be made truly beautiful. I sincerely hope this feedback will not be taken negatively, but as something to learn from. I really hope these issues will be improved for the next guests.
