Best hospitality I have experienced in France. Took advantage of the dinner offered at extra cost, which was delicious and a wonderful experience dining with the owners and other guests.
The rooms are extremely comfortable with many options available.
The pool is beautifully presented with towels and deck chairs.
The breakfast is delicious with marvellous marmalade.
Love this region, the food, castles, Bergerac, and surrounds.
Michael and Corrine are exceptional hosts, generous and a delight.
Nothing, unfortunately, the region is in a drought that has affected the gardens, and the lake is empty.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Château de Foussal. Corinne et Michel sont des hôtes exceptionnels : chaleureux, bienveillants et toujours attentifs, ils savent mettre leurs invités à l’aise. Le château, plein de charme et parfaitement entretenu, offre un cadre paisible et authentique qui invite à la détente.
Au-delà du confort et de la beauté des lieux, nous avons particulièrement apprécié nos échanges avec Corinne et Michel : des conversations riches et intéressantes qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus humain et mémorable. Nous repartons enchantés et reconnaissants, avec l’envie sincère de revenir. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !

Corinne en Michel hebben ons zeer hartelijk ontvangen in hun Chateau en stonden altijd klaar om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Elke dag een voortreffelijk ontbijt ( brood, koffiekoeken,kaas, yoghurt, zelfgemaakte confituren, fruit uit eigen tuin…). Corinne kan ook zeer goed koken! Zeer mooie en ruime kamer met een comfortabel bed en luxueuze badkamer! Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen naar Issigeac, Beaumont, Monpazier, Bergerac, Sarlat-la-Canéda ( iets verder) …. te bezoeken. Het overtrof onze verwachtingen. Wij gaan zeker terug!
